Take time to discover a region full of beaches, the Costa Calida or “Warm Coast” has over 250km of solitary beaches, coves, cliffs and typical Spanish fishing villages, together with a highly significant historic and cultural legacy.

Most of our golf resorts benefit from being close to the Mar Menor - one of the largest lagoons in Europe.  Its geographical situation and gentle winds make it one of the world’s best areas for sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing as well as playing host to the European Jet ski championships.

The hospitality and friendliness of the local people and the quality of golf resorts in this region make Murcia a complete model for Mediterranean living.

San Javier

Situated on the Mar Menor with its peaceful extensive beaches, a town suited to tourism due to its variety of water sports and leisure activities.  The famous international Jazz Festival, the Theatrical Festival, the San Blas Pilgrimage and The Carnival are just a few examples of the local resident’s enthusiasm for a party.

Los Alcazares

The Arabs chose this marvellous beauty spot for their holidays & rest and re-opened the ancient Roman Spas that already existed in the area.  They made good use of the excellent therapeutic properties of its water and they were the ones precisely who named this place Los Alcazares. The word ‘alcazares’ comes from the Arabic ‘alkazar’ which means palace or mansion.

The Beaches

The waters of the Mar Menor are renowned for their benevolent chemical properties and are classed as medicinal.  The high concentration of salt and iodine, the absence of strong waves, shallow waters (maximum 7 meters) and of course its exceptional temperatures both in Summer and Winter form a unique environment that is one of the main attractions in the area, “The Mar Menor”.
